TRADITIONAL MARTIAL ARTS
Adults will learn the traditional aspect of the martial arts -- centuries old techniques with modern day benefits like discipline, mental focus and inner peace. Blocks, kicks and strikes are combined with traditional stances and footwork that will improve your mental clarity and discipline. Our core training is based on Chung Do Kwan Tae Kwon Do.
EFFECITIVE SELF DEFENSE
You will learn four effective self defense arts: Hapkido, Israeli Combat, Kickboxing and Submission Grappling.
- Hapkido for close quarter grabs and strikes, in other words, you will be able to defend yourself against headlocks, garment grabs, choke holds and strikes. Hapkido is an art that utilizes your assailant's own power and strength against them -- using leverage and joint locks.
- Israeli Combat is a quick and effective hand to hand combat self-defense system.
- Submission Grappling is for any attack in which the attacker takes you to the ground.
- Kickboxing - Modern applications of strikes, blocks and kicks, enabling even better standup defense.
A Variety of Skills to Challenge You Physically and Mentally
As a part of our adult program you'll learn all facets of the martial arts. Examples include: Tae Kwon Do, Eskrima, Krav Maga, Hapkido, Judo, Jujitsu, Kick Boxing, Board Breaking, Martial Arts Weapons, Sparring, Bag Work, Stretching, Kata (Forms, Poomse) and One-Step Sparring.
